3 of the BEST Spring Perfumes 2017
Perfume is the finishing touch to any stylish ensemble and a sure way to make an entrance into a room (just don't overdo it!). We are finally out of the cold and into the heat. As the white snow melts, flowers bloom. That’s right, it’s Spring season! What better way to start off the new season with some new sexy scents that are sure to brighten up your mood.
This season, I'm leaning more towards light and floral. I also choose another one of my favourite classic scents perfect for date night.
This first scent is a beautiful scent made by the star of one of my favourite shows, Sex in the City star Sarah Jessica Parker. Lovely is a classic fragrance but it’s not old. What I love most about it is that it is simple and sophisticated, everything I'd imagine SJP to be. It has notes of Nectarine, Bergamot, Rosewood, Lavender, Apple Martini, White Daffodil, Orchid, White Amber, Cedar, Woody Note, and White Musk. By far the best thing about it is that it is super inexpensive. It retails at Walmart for $59 CAD but I've seen it for even as low as $20!
My next scent is a new purchase. I got this at Victoria Secrets the boxing day specially for Spring and have been saving it for May. Finally I can bring out my Victoria Secret Crush. It has notes of Pink Peppercorn, Treasure Peony and Ashok Flower a playful blend that is simply intoxicating. It retails for $52 CAD at Victoria Secret. I love this stuff!
My last choice is for a more sexy occasion. It is a timeless scent that can actually be worn all season long. It has recently become a new favourite of mine. I’m talking about none other than Coco by Chanel.
Coco describes it as a mysterious, provocative fragrance that gradually reveals contrasting notes. It has beautiful citrus and floral blend. An opening note is of Sicilian Mandarin, and Jasmine Absolute intensified by touches of Ylang-Ylang and Tunisian Orange Blossom. Leaving behind a trail of Indian Patchouli, Tonka Bean, and Benzoin.
It is a little on the expensive side but it’s totally worth the splurge. It retails for $124 CAD on the Chanel website.
