REVIEW: Aussie Total Miracle Conditioner and 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner

Conditioner is by far the most important products to use in your hair (at least in my opinion). And when you get into your type 3-4 hair curl patterns, it becomes even more essential to get a good conditioner that works for your hair texture. And let me say, I can go through a large bottle of conditioner very quickly, so I don't want to spend a ton, but I also don't want to sacrifice the results.

Aussie Total Miracle Conditioner and 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner

I have recently started my natural hair journey to repair my damaged hair and grow it longer, and I have been looking for a good inexpensive conditioner to use. I stumbled upon this little unicorn brand and fell in love.

This is my review of the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner, and the Aussie Total Miracle 7 in 1 Conditioner

Aussie Moist 3 Minute Miracle

The 3 MINUTE MIRACLE comes in at a shocking $3.27 CAD at Walmart and for a hair care line that has been praised for being great for kinky-curly hair, that price tag is music to my ears. First thing's first, I love the smell of Aussie's entire collection. It has a very light fruity scent that is intoxicating when the scent fills up your shower (in the best way possible - I almost want to eat it lol). It is the kind of smell that stays in your hair afterwards even when your hair is dry. Not that it really does anything for me because I put tons of oils and butters in my hair anyway that will mask this smell but it's a nice touch. On that note, packaging! Purple of course, being Aussie's signature colour is one of my favourite colours so no complaints there and the cool design of the bottle (the self closing squeeze tube) makes it really easy to dispense the product in your hands. I can go through a bottle of this really quick so next time, I'll be purchasing the larger size which is only $5.27 CAD (still a steal!).

When wash day comes around, I only de-tangle my hair once. I finger de-tangle the whole regime (through shampoo and conditioner) so when I get to my deep conditioner, I need something with A LOT of slip since a comb hasn't touched my hair in about a week. I must say that the 3 Minute Miracle simply doesn't have enough slip for me. It has a thicker texture that I like but there isn't much of a silky feeling. My hair has to be soaking wet for me to be able to de-tangle it properly using this product, something that I don't need when I use other products. It could be because I have a low-porosity hair type so it takes a lot of water for anything to soak into my hair. With that being said, I have used other deep conditioners where this isn't the case. I don't mind too much because I'm in the shower for the majority of my wash-day routine so its not too messy.

I then leave this in my hair ( I leave it on longer than the 3 minutes - if I’m going to dep condition it has to be 10-30 minutes at least under a heat cap). When I'm done I really feel like the product soaked into my hair, leaving it hydrated, and giving me superb shrinkage. Washing it out is dream, the first time I kept rinsing my hair trying to get it out because I couldn't believe that my hair was so soft. When I blow dry my hair, it feels nice and soft so I have no complaints about how it dries afterwards. I just wish it had a bit more slip for de-tangling. There are other products that I find work better for me in terms of deep conditioning, so I won’t be repurchasing this one.

Aussie Total Miracle Conditioner

This conditioner retails for $2.77 at Walmart and the larger size is $5.47. Once again I can go on about the super affordable pricing of Aussie's products. This is actually my second bottle of their 7 in 1 conditioner so I went to the super size. I love the pump on the bottle which makes it easy to dispense when you're in the shower. It has the same intoxicating aroma (I believe the whole line smells like that).

As I mentioned above, I only de-tangle my hair once and I only run my hands through my hair with conditioner. I would almost prefer to use the Total Miracle as a de-tangler because it has SO MUCH SLIP. Aussie's Total Miracle is a real miracle in a bottle. After years of frying my hair out with a flat iron and my blow dryer on maximum heat, I never thought that my hair would ever be strong and thick again. This conditioner, although not the only influencing factor, is definitely a reason for the change in the thickness, shine and overall health of my hair. I love to de-tangle with this conditioner because it is so slick so I know I'm not raking through my ends. It provides much the needed hydration to my strands and even without a deep conditioner (on those days when I have to rush my routine) I can get by with only using this conditioner, and my hair still feels nice until the next week. Now, I don't do it often but in the case that I do, this is my go-to.

If there is one thing from this line that I suggest you pick up, regardless of your hair type, it has got to be this conditioner which has become a staple in my hair care routine! Regardless of what else I try, I always come back to my Total Miracle

I want to try some more items from their 3 Minute Miracle and Total Miracle lines because I've have heard many great things. They smell great, feel great and leave my hair soft and shiny. And with the price tag, it's good in my book.
