My Experience

The first thing I have to comment on is the fact that this mask come with so much product! I’m not kidding, there is tons of liquid left over after using the mask. A sheet mask is basically a serum so I love pouring it out into a container or dropper bottle and using it as a serum the next night.

When I think of pampering myself, I think of an ambiance and the light, sweet Watermelon scent this mask gives off does just that. And if you’re someone who normally steer’s clear of fragrance, don’t worry because its not overbearing and the soothing ingredients like Aloe Vera and Cucumber are designed to be non-irritating to the skin.

The Watermelon mask is a bit on the thicker side when it comes to texture. I typically prefer lighter masks because thicker consistencies have the tendency to feel “goopy” on the skin (for lack of a better word). Surprisingly, this mask has a gel-to-liquid texture. It is truly a beautiful serum that actually absorbs into the skin. And it doesn’t leave your face feeling sticky to the touch.

To use, I cleanse my face with a gentle cleanser, tone with an AHA, then apply this mask (since it is basically a serum). I leave it on for about 20 minutes (sometimes 30!). When I am done, I peel it off, fold it and rub the the mask over my neck and decolletage. Those areas need the hydration too. As I mentioned, I pour out the remaining serum in the package into a dropper bottle to use the next night. I pat the rest of the serum into the skin until it feels nice an supple, then follow up with the rest of my routine. Whenever I do sheet masks, I make sure to top off my skin with a light face oil rich with linoleic acid (perfect for oily-combination skin types) to ensure all of the hydration is locked in.

If you are looking for a sheet mask to add to your beauty collection, I recommend giving this one a try!
