How To Clean Beauty Sponge

Part of achieving clear skin is paying attention to what tools you are putting on your skin. From pillows, to your fingers, to makeup brushes and sponges. Make sure you are cleansing anything that is coming in contact with you skin. 

I found the best way to clean your makeup sponges so you can have confidence that they are actually clean and you’re not pushing more bacteria into your skin. It’s called Micellar Water. Get you some micellar water than can clean your makeup and your sponges. Mine is the Marcelle Micellar Water for All Skin Types. 

What is Micellar Water?

Any micellar water will do, after cleansing with your regular cleanser, pour a few drops on to your beauty sponge, gently rub between your fingers and watch your beauty blender clean before your eyes. When you’re done cleaning, store your sponge in a mesh pencil case to allow it to dry properly.
