REVIEW: Fresh Rose Floral Toner

This is the Rose Floral Toner from FRESH. It retails on the Sephora website for $49.00 CAD. It is a rose water infused toner, that balances, softens and hydrates the skin. It is suitable for all skin types and prepares your skin for other products to be layered on top.

I have been trying out this product for 4 months, and today I’m sharing my thoughts on the FRESH Rose Floral Toner.

First Impressions

The toner comes packaged in a long slender pray bottle, which is nice because you get a lot of product, 250 mL to be exact. I’ve been using mine for the past 5 months and I still have about 1/3 of the product left and I using this sparingly. Every morning and every night. It comes with a pretty powerful evenly distributed spray that allows you to spay your face directly with the product as a facial mist if you’d like. The shape of the bottle itself fits very nightly in your hand as well so its easy to hold. Also the rose floral scent smells divine. I love that it is not too strong, it just has a faint floral scent that is calming as well.

My Experience

I have had this toner for the past 5 months and have been using it consistently twice a day, in the morning and night after cleansing. The mist itself is very light and moisturizing. With 2-3 spritz on a cotton pad, I moisten my entire face. I can tell just how moisturizing it is because I conducted my own “little experiment” (haha). I washed my face with a normal gentle cleanser and left my skin for at least 10 minutes. As I have combination skin, my face started to do its thing getting very dry around the chin and oily around my nose. I swiped this all over my face and left it for 5 minutes. My skin instantly felt hydrated and the moisture did not go away. It balanced out my skin and I have seen an improvement in the oil-dry ratio that I typically experience. I don’t think this alone balanced my oil, but it hydrated my skin very plump. It is non irritating, and it really helped to calm down my skin. What I especially love using this for is when I am traveling. I poor a little out into a tiny spray bottle and carry it with me on the plane. I don’t typically wear makeup when I travel so just spray it on to re-hydrate my skin.

Overall

As a whole, I really enjoyed this product. I think it hydrates very well. My skin tends to get very dry in the cooler months and this has been a treat transitioning to the fall season. I would definitely recommend picking this up if you’re looking for a hydrating toner that helps to balance the skin.
