This is the Youth To The People Mandelic Acid + Superfood Unity Exfoliator (PR). It retails for $48 CAD/ 4.0 oz. It features a Gentle Triple-Acid Complex to help improve the appearance of the skin and YTTPs vitamin-rich Superfood blend: Kale, Spinach, Green Tea.

Key Ingredients

  • 3% Mandelic Acid (AHA) for skin texture and Pigmentation

  • 2% Salicylic Acid (BHA) unclogs pores and helps dissolve excess oil

  • 1% Gluconolactone (PHA) gentlest acid out of the 3 that both exfoliates and hydrates the skin

  • Licorice Root (antioxidants) anti-inflammatory, soothes the skin

I am someone with sensitive acne-prone skin so it’s important to me that my actives that are not too harsh on my skin. This is a gentle exfoliator that will help smoothen your skin, get rid of whiteheads and uneven skin texture, and help to fade those hyperpigmentation spots left behind from post-acne.

In the PR box sent to me from YTTP, I also received a deluxe travel size of their Superfoods Cleanser which you guys know is one of my favourite clenasers.

The box also came with YTTPs re-usable cotton rounds that are so sturdy and cute. It has its own mesh bag so it can go straight into the wash!

More on how to apply your toner

I’m so happy to be a part of this launch and have been impressed with its performance so far. I’ve used this for 3 weeks as part of my evening routine after cleansing I love how lightweight this is on the skin. It leaves your skin feeling plumped and it’s non-drying. I know a lot of exfoliants (especially BHA) can be a little bit drying to the skin but with this, there’s none of that feeling whatsoever. I have some large pores around my nose and when I do use this they look significantly diminished!

Will you be trying this?
