REVIEW: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream

This is the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream. It retails for $19.56 /47 ml. Its cream is designed to be a lightweight, fragrance-free moisturizer perfect for those looking for an added hydration content to their skin. It is for all skin types, but I really love how light it is, especially for oily-acne-prone skin types.

I feel like I’m late to the party when it comes to Neutrogena’s hydro boost line simply because I tried their SPF and loved it but never got around to trying anything else from that line.

As mentioned, this is the fragrance-free version which is calming and soothing to the skin. The original one does contain fragrance so make sure you are reading the label before purchasing if you are looking for this one specifically.

As someone with combo skin, I love gel-like textures because they provide moisture to the skin without leaving a greasy finish. This cream makes my skin feel plumped and soft. I love using this in the daytime, it helps make my mineral sunscreens apply more evenly on the skin because it adds that smoothness. In the nighttime, I feel like I need a little something more so I add 1 drop of a lightweight facial oil like Jojoba Oil or Squalane.
